First accessible election design workshop scheduled

The first of two workshops will be held January 25-26 at the Georgia Tech Center for Assistive Technology and Environmental Access (CATEA). The workshop will focus on ways to make the voting experience more accessible to people with disabilities.

Participants include a diverse mix of experts: election officials, voting technology experts, designers, accessibility advocates, and people with disabilities. Their broad set of perspectives provides a unique opportunity to identify barriers, and find ways to remove them.
